At Sports, Human Rights & Sustainable Development Dubai Expo Global Goals Week 2022

The goal of this event is to support sport authorities, development banks and private investors by giving them access to clear data relating to sport and development, paired with an understanding of how to use this data as a tool for collaboration and funding. The event also aims to open a collaborative discourse on the needs of different funding bodies and governments. Participants will take away a better understanding of the current trends of international sport for development funding, its challenges and opportunities.

A focus will be recent success stories and planned initiatives, “real-world”, evidence-based sport for development projects effectively supporting sustainable development. Their accomplishments will be highlighted to inspire participants to take on similar funding models in their own contexts.
